Red, White, and Denim

Top: Forever 21

Shorts: Vintage Levi’s

Shoes: ASOS

Backpack: Tommy Hilfiger (TJ Maxx)

Bandana: ASOS

Belt: Vintage

I haven’t worn a crop top like this in a while, but it’s been incredibly hot here in San Diego so I gave in. I went for a super classic combo when I paired the white crop top with my favorite pair of vintage Levi’s denim shorts. I really love the simplicity of this outfit, and I’m a big fan of adding pops of color to such a simple look. I opted for one of my bandanas from ASOS, and this super cute backpack by Tommy Hilfiger that I actually scored at TJ Maxx. This backpack is normally $118, but at TJ Maxx it was only $30! That’s such a great deal, and it’s one of the reasons I don’t buy expensive items because I can usually find a better deal.

I really love this outfit for summer because it’s very easy to throw on, but I can still look put together. Also I’m not sure if any of you can tell by these photos, but I finally got my haircut! I don’t think I had even gotten a trim in the past year, so I was well overdue for one. I believe I cut about five inches off, and my hair is still very long. I actually wish I had cut a few more off, but I think I’ll do the next time I get it cut. I may grow out my hair like that again because I would really like to donate my hair when it gets to that length. I’ll probably do it before next summer, and then I can jump on the “lob” train that I’m extremely late for.

One of the biggest reasons why I never cut my hair is because I’m lazy. If I were to cut my hair into a lob style I would have to style it every single day. When my hair is long I feel like I can just brush it and walk out the door. However, I would really like to get better about doing my hair. I rarely do anything to it, and because it’s so long I tend to wear it in a bun 90% of the time. I need some different lazy girl hairstyles, and I’m not very good at braiding. I can do a basic one, but it would probably take me awhile to get a hang of all the different braid variations.

What are you go to hairstyles especially for when you’re feeling lazy? Leave your answer below in the comments!

Off the Shoulder Tops & Suede Sandals

Top: Boohoo (TJ Maxx)

Jeans: ASOS Petite

Sandals: Forever 21

Belt: Vintage

Necklaces: Forever 21

I am absolutely loving the off the shoulder trend for Spring! The one I’m wearing above is actually from the brand Boohoo, but I picked it up while browsing at TJ Maxx. I really loved the print it reminds me of a bandana, or a silk scarf. I also really loved the tulip back of the top, and I thought it was a really great way to make it a little bit different from all these other off the shoulder tops that everyone is wearing (aka the striped ones!). To go with this really lovely top I opted for these really beautiful suede heeled sandals! They sort of remind me of mules, and I love that even though they have a heel they are extremely comfortable.

Most of these items were really inexpensive (except for the ASOS jeans), and I will try and link some similar options below if I can’t find the exact items. If you don’t have the money to put down on expensive items yet like me then you should really hit that subscribe button to stay in touch with my affordable finds! I’m always adding thrifted items as well, so that you can see not everything you own has to be brand new.

So unfortunately I couldn’t find the sandals, or the top on the brands websites. I linked some fairly similar, and really cute other options though!

Strappy Faux Suede Mules from Forever 21

Faux Suede Sandals from Forever 21. (These are a great no heel option, and they are on sale!!!)

Abbie Paisley Off The Shoulder Top from Boohoo. (Check out their website because they’re always having a sale)
