Hello!

If I could apologize a million times for disappearing this past month that would be great. I’m incredibly disappointed in myself right now because I feel like I gave up on the blog! I didn’t really mean to just stop blogging, but I am promising to step it up and get back on track. The hardest thing about being a fashion blogger, at least for me, is taking all these photos. My boyfriend is great, but I don’t want to bug him all the time to take my pictures. Then there’s photographers, but I’m not in the right place to be paying someone to take photos for me (no matter how good they are). Anyways those are my apologies and excuses now lets move on to the good stuff.

This outfit was super simple, and super comfortable for the light summer weather we were having yesterday. Every piece except for the hat is a staple in my wardrobe. I’ve worn this off the shoulder top so many times already, and I know I’ll still be wearing it until summer is over. I love that the top, and the hat are both on trend because I easily found them at Forever 21 at an affordable price. I’m pretty in love with the boater hat style, and with the pom pom details I think this one is adorable. A cute accessory plus sun protection? I’m all for it. The Jeans. These jeans were on mega sale when I stopped by the Gap outlet factory store. These are normally $70 jeans, but I walked out only paying $17!!! That’s such a score! Now online they’re currently $25, but that’s still a great deal for these jeans. They look somewhat like vintage Levi’s. I love the wash, and they fit like a flattering mom jean. They have all the sizes left online, so I highly recommend that you have a look for yourself.

Oh and those earrings! I don’t normally wear statement earrings, or even earrings at all. However, these caught my attention as I walked past the clearance section in Target (if you haven’t realized by now I’m Target obsessed). They were only $5, and I thought they would be a great way to spruce up any simple outfit.

As always I’ve linked the pieces below!

What’s your favorite trendy piece for the summer?

  • I understand what you mean about keeping up with fashion blogging and trying to take photos without bothering someone all the time. I am the same way. I absolutely love this outfit though. I have been hesitant to try off the shoulder tops, but I would like to.

  • Thank you! It is definitely difficult having someone take my pictures. I am looking to find someone that will be available weekly. Off the shoulder tops are great, and there are so many different variations of them give them a go!
